It's Not About Me Rescue From the Life We Thought Would Make Us Happy By Max Lucado

It's Not About Me Rescue From the Life We Thought Would Make Us Happy
By Max Lucado

Max Lucado has turned out another great book that reminds us that we follow God’s word-not the BS the media tells us. Through this book we learn that as humans we have selfish tendencies-we place so much time around ourselves that God seems to take a backseat before our needs. He sends a powerful message that pop culture are like sheep herders-in a sense, we are herded like mindless sheep to what they think we need-not what we need. His message is powerful and well worth the read! I received this copy free from book sneeze in exchange fore a review. I was not required to write a positive review.

The Quotable Rogue The Ideals of Sarah Palin in Her Own Words By Matt Lewis

The Quotable Rogue The Ideals of Sarah Palin in Her Own Words By Matt Lewis

The writer did a great job in providing a book that was easy to read, and dealt with important issues. I’ll admit that I found some parts helpful while other parts seemed like they were opinions. I’m not ver political but occasionally I like to read up on it. The book was insightful; and not a bad read-I do recommend it. It deals with tough issues, and the writer did a great job. I received a copy of this book free from book sneeze, all opinions written are my own and I was not required to write a positive review.

Be the People A Call to Reclaim America's Faith and Promise By Carol Swain

Be the People A Call to Reclaim America's Faith and Promise By Carol Swain

This book had a strong STRONG voice; she really laid it out and broke things down-putting them into perspective! We let ourselves fall into deception by ones hungry for power-or those that use the media to abuse it. From politics to even religion, deception is everywhere-and this author really gives it a what for and speaks strongly; we live in a society where one tries to out due the other. I loved her points and views. I loved reading this book- it was one I couldn’t put down! I received a copy from book sneeze in exchange for a review. I was not required to write a positive review and all opinions expressed are my own!

A Reluctant Queen The Love Story of Esther By Joan Wolf

A Reluctant Queen The Love Story of Esther By Joan Wolf

This story was great, the plot and characters were flaweless. I managed to read the book in one day, if you’re into romances then you should read this book. It’s told from an old story-kicking it up again with romance, and characters you won’t help but think about. I loved how the writer portrayed Esther; a very spirited girl; and how tender her and the King were. This was a very heart felt story, one you should check out. I have received this book in exchange for a review – my words are my own, and do not depict any influence to leave a positive review.

The Seraph Seal

I’m going to have to get this book for review; as funny as this is going to sound-my dog ate my book…which is the same excuse as the dog ate my homework; I have no idea what got into her, she decided to start chewing on the books that were sitting on the coffee table. I tried to piece together the book-unfortunately that didn’t go as planned. I will be getting the book to read, and apologize I won’t be able to give a review until I get another copy. Which is something I’m working on right now. Thanks for your understanding!

The Seraph Seal

The Seraph Seal is a good book; it was a little hard for me to understand, but it’s not a bad book. It is face paced and sometimes moves at a really fast pace. It’s intense but definitely not a bad story. I recommend this book if the history of revelations interest you, or you like a futuristic story. I do recommend it…but I just didn’t like the pace it moved, slow fast, slow-a roller coaster. I can’t really say anything else. I got this copy free from book sneeze in exchange for a review.

The Promise of an Angel By Ruth Reid

The Promise of an Angel By Ruth Reid was a touching and beautiful story that  had me keep reading until the very end. I think the author did a great job; I liked how the story moved and how sweet it was. I love reading and don’t think I’ve read anything like this in quite awhile. The plot moves swiftly, and the characters are adorable; the tragedy is mild, and the sympathy and understanding between characters are done extremely well. I received this copy free from book sneeze for exchange for a review of the product. These words are solemnly my own and I did not have to leave a positive review.

Max On Life: Answers and Insights to Your Most Important Questions

Max On Life: Answers and Insights to Your Most Important Questions

A book that raises some interesting questions and interesting answers all their own. I pace myself while reading this book as I cannot read it in one sitting or for very long as it gets boring and tiring, but still the author poses questions and answers into the faith we live; and how we live it. He has a great writing technique that is quite informative and answers the questions strongly, easy enough for them to be understood and the answers simple enough to understand. I recommend this book if you have questions. Or if you love his work. Like I said the author is great with answering the questions and doesn’t skip a beat, covering almost everything that you want to know or have been curious about. I recommend this book for sure, just not in large qualities. I read a few pages and then put it down, but some maybe able to not put the book down-it really depends on the person. A perfect book for someone with questions.

The Final Summit A Quest to Find the One Principle That Will Save Humanity By Andy Andrews

The Final Summit A Quest to Find the One Principle That Will Save Humanity By Andy Andrews

is a book that I really couldn’t get through; I found it boring, and not at all what I expected. The description looked a lot better then the book did. I made it maybe half way through and it still didn’t pick up. There seems to be a lot of reviews like that. It’s not a bad book, it’s just not my speed…not really what I’m use to reading. I liked the way it started out, but it quickly became ominous within the first few chapters. I thought I’d push on a little more to see if it picked up or not…for me it never did. I hope that his next book is better; but I’ve read a few reviews and it seems that I’m not the only one who thought the book was off and even a bit boring. I really can’t recommend this book…the description is very drawing but it’s not worth the time to read. I’m sorry, I’m just giving my honest opinion on it. I’ll try reading another book by the same author and see if it’s any better. His idea concept is intriguing but the writing style falls short of the amazing description.

Strike It Rich with Pocket Change By Ken Potter and Dr. Brian Allen

Strike It Rich with Pocket Change By Ken Potter and Dr. Brian Allen

Now this was a cool book to read. Striking it rich with pocket change is a book to read for someone who is looking for some extra cash. You do that by playing spot the errors on the coins. When coins are made it’s not surprise that sometimes printing mistakes happen-and this book shows you exactly how to spot them to turn that print mistake into cash. The book has some great techniques in spotting printing mistakes, and could give that person a shot in striking it rich, tripling the  value of that coin by 100 fold. This book was a fun read, but sadly all my coins are regulars, but if you want to go on a coin hunt to find differences and think you may have something; then this book is for you as it’s easy to read and understand, letting you distinguish the markings with ease. If you haven’t read this book then you should! Like I said, it’s a fun book to read and an even better one to study if you think you got a coin that doesn’t look like the others.

Story Engineering Mastering the 6 Core Competencies of Successful Writing

Story Engineering Mastering the 6 Core Competencies of Successful Writing

As a writer of about…fifteen years, I find it hard to grasp detailing, emotion, steady plot development and character development; this book is amazing, and helps you to focus on each element of the story one piece at a time, breaking away elements like a 3-D puzzle exploits detail-that’s what it’s all about, detail and keeping in character with a steady stream. This book has helped me to understand that and slow down the scene in my head, being able to work with it in slow motion. This book is one of the best written so far out there that I read, that I’m confident that someday I’ll be able to publish my own stories. I love how he is able to break it down and go step by step to help the writer understand the complete control of their own imagination as well as helping to sharpen their writing skills! I definitely recommend this book highly to people who are writers and are looking to develop more sharpened stories! Or even just someone who loves to write and aren’t wanting to make it their financial career goal; either or works!

Live Loved Experiencing God's Presence in Everyday Life By Max Lucado

Live Loved Experiencing God's Presence in Everyday Life
By Max Lucado

A book that was enjoyable and peaceful to read at the same time. In human nature we all go through trying times, this book has never a shortage of topics. Facing your fears - believing in God and finding love through life. Accepting the Lord through belief is an amazing wake up , both spiritual and physical. Getting to know God’s love really shines out through this book and I recommend it strongly for someone having doubts or just trying to find their path. For new believers it sets up a prayer to grow stronger with their new found faith. It also has advanced for long time believers. The book really does help view life from a new perspective, one of self peace and positivism. With such a negative world we live in, we have to find peace somewhere and it’s here in this book.

The Hidden Magic of Walt Disney World Over 600 Secrets of the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom

The Hidden Magic of Walt Disney World Over 600 Secrets of the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom

The parks are truly magical, I’ve been to Disney dozens of times and only noticed a few things on this list, it’s the perfect guide and planner for your next trip to Disney. At the beginning of the book it talks about messages and landscaping, slowly transitioning into the unique sets of the shops and rides. I recommend this book highly for your next trip as it comes in handy. The whole guide book was an interesting read-not at all boring. That’s why Disney is such a magical park, because of the secrets that surround it. Each character, building and sight has it’s own unique and wonderful structure. The book really dissects the park and walks you through a magical experience you won’t soon forget! Read this book before going and spot as many secrets in the park as you can, it could be a fun game-or read and really get a feel for the magic behind what Walt Disney created. You won’t want to put this book down once you start reading!

Eat Your Peas, Mom Simple Truths and Happy Insights By Cheryl Karpen

Eat Your Peas, Mom Simple Truths and Happy Insights By Cheryl Karpen is a charming book and one of three in the eat your peas series. This one focuses on moms, providing cute illustrations. This is a keepsake book-one mom would love for the rest of her life. It offers cute phrases and meaningful words to show the respect you have for her. As a daughter I found it a beautiful book that proves exactly how I feel for my mom. It’s a quick read and well worth getting. I don’t think I’m going to be able to get to 200 words with this one as it was a pretty short book and fast read but I recommend this book as it delivers a beautiful message and has cute illustrations with the words that wrap the book together perfectly.

The Convenient Groom By Denise Hunter

The Convenient Groom
By Denise Hunter

Meet Kate Lawrence, a celebrity marriage counselor, one who had it all. From top A leisters to D class it didn’t matter. She was the marriage counselor celebrities sought out. But when the seemingly put together woman has a wrench thrown into her plan-she’s left  with a new fear; unemployment. Once her A list clients find out the groom split and left her at the alter they would follow; which would unravel life as Kate knew it. Fretting the nationwide news of her disastrous beach wedding, Lucas Wright steps in for the missing groom by offering his services to marry her so she is not left standing with her head in the stand, having no choice but to agree she accept the stranger’s proposal; entering into a world wind of more chaos as the plan reveals itself as an ulterior motive the young man unveils as soon as the words spoke “I Do”. Through that havoc she is schooled in what she preaches, and in the end is it enough? I’ll let you be the judge of that. I personally recommend this book as it pulls you in right from the beginning. The characters seem so real that you won’t want to put this book down.

God's Promises Devotional Journal 365 Days of Experiencing the Lord's Blessings

God's Promises Devotional Journal 365 Days of Experiencing the Lord's Blessings is a great book-and a great way to keep encouraged throughout the year-providing inspirational passages, quotes and stories from different Christian authors-ways to relief stress and meditate with God, along with places to write your thoughts down-probably the best journal out there and one that I will most definitely use. I found it’s a great reflecting tool to get through the day by reflecting and relying on God-trusting in him and his promises. This book would make an excellent journal to any Christian follower, and I recommend this book greatly. I will be sure to use this book as a way to strengthen my relationship with the Lord and also learn how to relieve stress through trust and prayer. As a Christian follower I was skeptic at first but the book changed my mind, I can’t wait to get everything I can out of this book!
